Chris and I are doing P90X!!!
After some discussions, a cleared out food cabinet and some new weights we are ready to go!
I will try and keep updating here on my progress and I know that it will help me stay motivated. We have had very good support from our friends and family and I know that will help us be successful in the long run.
Current Update:
Today is Day 2.
The biggest adjustment is that it is a lot of cooking. The meals so far are not bad but making them is what takes forever. Most recipes have 5-12 ingredients. Also, I am having to make our breakfast and lunch meals the night before. So each night I am cooking dinner, then breakfast for the next day and then lunch for the next day too! A lot of the meals are protein based but we still can have some veggies and fruits and even some carbs. The only thing I am having problems with so far is not eating enough of what they want and some of the foods. 6 egg whites for breakfast?? too much! cottage cheese?!? eek! I tried and it was unsuccessful!
Anyways, Hope you have a great day and thank you all so much for your support!
PS- I follow a blog and this is what he put for the reason of doing his blog and I think it is exactly what a guy would say, but it worked for him! haha "My P90X Blog. I created this blog to chronicle my progress on the P90X fitness program. If my experience helps you out that is great but like most things I do I have selfish reasons. I figure if I blog my progress here and distribute this to various people then I am less likely to cheat or not complete the program."
xoxo

Good luck Lauren! You can do it. And he's right; having a blog is a great motivator to keep up your progress. I use it to keep pushing myself to begin a new remodeling project (and then to actually finish it).
