Long Overdue Recap

I try to update the blog about 3 times a week, but last week I was really bad and only posted on Friday. I think part of this issue was that I was really busy and kept saying "I'll do it later." So here is a quick recap.

Last Weekend

• We went to Allie's graduation party and got to meet her dad and celebrate with some of her great friends! It was a BLAST and her dad is amazing just like the rest of the family.
• Chris and I went back to my old high school and watched the boys soccer state championship game. It went into overtime 3 times, was delayed for an hour by the storms and went into Penalty Kicks. I am not a huge soccer fan but it was intense! In the end Northview lost to Collins Hill, but I am glad we went. I got to see one of my volleyball players as well as I got to see some old friends from HS! 

• We had Chris's family over and surprised his uncle and grandma that it was actually a surprise birthday party for them!
• We had the MS Walk with Chris's coworkers! It was SO much fun! Happy went but was SO exhausted! After our whole group ate at Mellow Mushroom!

• We cleaned like crazy! 
• We went out to eat with my parents for mom's day! I HAVE THE BEST MOM EVER!
• and i think that is it..

Last Week

• Went shopping with Melissa on Tuesday to my new FAVORITE place: Charming Charlies! Got a cute necklace, glasses, earrings, an owl cocktail ring and a WOOZIE! (cutest wine koozie) We also went to swoozies because it is going out of business and they had some great stuff left!  (if I remember, I will take pictures of some stuff I bought and post them on here tomorrow- so check back! )

• We also went out to CHEEKY for dinner which is the best and is so much fun. If you have not heard about this place, they have taps on the table and you can pour your own beer anytime you want. Its fun! The catch is that the only options are Dos XX Lager or Amber, but the Lager is really good! Its 25 cents an ounce, so the price isn't that bad either!

• Tiffany came over and we painted all night on Wednesday while listening to some awesome music before watching Idol :)  I like Lee and I hope he wins! 
• We also went to 37 Main and watched Rock Mafia. It was karaoke night and instead of singing to background music, you sing with the band! It was awesome to watch! You have lights and fog going! The food selection was great. We went for dinner and they had a million options!
