New Old Favorite Hobby :)

My freshman year of college I remember sitting down with an older Chi Omega sister, Crystal, and I asked her what is her one advice that she wishes she would have done/known as a freshman. Her answer might surprise you. She said she wished she would have scrap-booked more. She showed me a book from her senior year that she had made. It was love at first site. After that I turned into a photo crazed, scrap collecting, little hoarding NUT! I would keep anything from receipts to ticket stubs to magazine clippings- anything (and everything) that i thought could go in my scrapbook. I would then keep them in a certain location based on what event I went to. Then during breaks from school, i would catch up on the semester before.  Well surprise surprise I started to get behind. I would get so detailed and so picky that it would take me an hour to complete one 12"x12" page!  I would also make a HUGE mess. I loved doing it, I just fell so far behind and it got overwhelming! Well right now I think I am in my summer after my 2nd year of college. I know I am almost 4 years behind. Well I have decided that I am going to get myself organized and get back into it now that I have some more free time, no volleyball and my own house to make a space in. Here are some cute things from target that I want to get.

1)   black fabric cubes to carry stuff around, to hide piles and to put under our new living room furniture.

2) some type of all purpose craft rack. This one is way to expensive for what it does- $70

3) rolling stackable bins to separate everything! LOVE THEM! Wish they had some color to them but I guess we don't want them to stand out too much.

4) a mini stackable. I think this would be great to separate my pens, markers, adhesives... the little things

5) I really need a cute workable table that is not expensive but that will be practical for scrapbooking/crafts! Any ideas?

My friend Sarah but a blog up about her crafting room that she wants to create and I just love the photos of her ideas!! Check out her blog here. It has some great tip/ideas.

Look how amazing this room is:
I love the idea of a center table! I also love the gift wrap board/cupboard on the wall in the back. The lady said it was at pottery barn but I could not find it anywhere on their website! Or find anything that looks like that... anywhere!

Well I have to get going. Chris has a special dinner tonight for work at:

Super Excited! He has the Best Office EVER!!! They are the nicest people and always treat the workers employees top notch and their families as well. I am so glad that he works there and so glad at the friends we have made from there. Cool things that we have done/received because of them and Chris's hard work: Top notch catering & Tickets to UGA/GT Football and Baseball games, Great Dinners at all nice restaurants across GA, Banquets, Holiday Parties, Chris goes on golfing trips, and most importantly they have given us good friends because we get to see each other and hang out so much!
