Sorry It has taken me so long to get back on here but i dont want to do this everyday because then I will ramble on about little things (more then I already do!)
Well this weekend was rough, we played in Big South Tournament and faced some of the toughest teams. We lost most of it but had a good time. When we had our semifinals we lost to a team that we have beaten 3 times before. It was just like no one was there. Also at the beginning of the season I had 13 girls and on the last 2 days we had 8! This leaves little room for substitution so everyone got really tired. Here is a picture of my team on day 1, some of our special guests that came to watch, the girls on court 39 and a picture of some of the inflatable toys to play with.
The cool thing is that for being a new club, we had some big name schools come out to watch us. Here are some random schools that i saw/remember:
Over the 3 days, we had about 30 coaches stop by our courts.
This week so far has been kinda blah. I got to talk to TAH last night and she ALWAYS makes my night! I also found out that my big, HLM is coming into town in 3 weeks and I am super excited to see her!!! I am in desperate need of a weekend away from volleyball. This weekend we have our last 17's tournament in Lawrenceville @ Archer High School. We play starting at 9am! Next weekend we play @ the World Congress Center in Atlanta for our final 18's tournament! AND THEN WE ARE DONE FOR THE SEASON!!!!!!!!! It will be my first successful season @ Atlanta Extreme! Then starts recruiting season. Since we are an invitation-only club we have to do a lot of recruiting to make sure we get what we want If you know any younger girls between 10-17 in North Georgia that might be interested in a volleyball club LET ME KNOW @ AtlantaExtremeVB@gmail.com
Well gotta get back to work! We just got done with lunch! This week so far we have had: Outback, Wild Wing & Antigua!
