Slowest Day Ever....

Well today has been one of those days that will not go by quick enough. I woke up super tired and coffee didn't seem to save that. I got to speak to my big this morning, which was great! I just love catching up with people, especially those where you can talk for hours even if you haven't really talked in a few weeks! So, its not like its a bad day or boring day, its just a BLAH day.I feel like I am so busy and am doing so much, but I feel like I never get anything done. These past few weeks I have been especially scatter-brained at work. We mainly deal with auto and military parts at work, but we also have two different sectors that are Artificial Turf Yarn and A Trucking company that I am both in charge of starting up and improving. I enjoy it because I get to do different stuff everyday but at the same time, I sometimes start something and move on to a different project when my mind crosses it. I am normally good with writing it down but sometimes i will have 3 phone calls waiting and a person waiting to meet me in the office and i just am too busy to write notes to remember. MUST FIX THAT ASAP!

Well volleyball playing season is over but that doesnt really mean anything. Now we have to focus on recruiting, finding new coaches and camps.  I told myself that I would wait til May to start it up again, but I think about volleyball everyday and what i need to be doing.

May starts my big philanthropy month and I am SUPER excited! I truely believe that there is not a better feeling in the world then giving back. Now i know that people say "these are bad times" and "we just dont have money" but if you just saved up $10 and then 50 people did that it equals $500! We by no means have the money to be giving to every chairty that walks by, but we try to give as much as we can, when we can.

The first week of May if Relay for Life. It is one of my favorite charity events because cancer affects so many people on so many different levels. With all the support it gets, it is said that cancer deaths over the last few years have dropped by almost 16% due to new research/finding! How great! In my life I have lost 4 people and know many people who are or have battled it. This will be my second Relay this year but this event in May is the BIGGEST IN THE WORLD! I am so excited to experience it! They will have almost 400 vendors, teams, tents, ect! I have some great friends and family that will be there with me and it makes it even more exciting. This will be our second year and we cant wait because the weather is always beautiful and the company of his coworkers and friends are always great! Well I am off to do more work!

Have a great rest of the day!!
